Francois Millard

Francois Millard is senior vice president at Vitality Group International, a member of South Africa-based Discovery Holdings Limited. He leads Vitality’s global collaborative research agenda and the practical application thereof with a focus on healthy ageing, the quantification and financial impact of lifestyle risk on health and longevity, and innovative solutions to improve life at all ages. Working as an actuary for insurance companies and as a consulting actuary, he has experience in all aspects of life and health insurance. Mr Millard is a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in London, the Society of Actuaries in the US and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He also serves on the advisory board of the Center for Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Research at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
