Clear, constructive communication is an essential skill for any business professional, yet only 2% of working adults have had formal training to enhance this ability. Recent research indicates that besides improving business outcomes, listening to our clients and colleagues is an effective one-on-one stress reducer — a wellness intervention in itself.
This interactive workshop will explore and reinforce tools that promote meaningful conversation, effective listening and posing transformative questions. Based on the book, Get to What Matters, tools will include: what we are listening for; the “Rule of Three”; guiding conversations in a productive direction, and levels of what matters.
