Tracy Kramer

Tracy Kramer, MBA, is the director of strategic planning, business development, and project management for Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital in West Bloomfield. Tracy earned her master’s in business administration and masters of science in materials science and engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the dual master’s program, Leaders for Global Operations. She began her career in engineering, progressing to various operations leadership roles within the Automotive Industry. She has over 15 years’ experience working for General Motors, Ford and Chrysler. In 2014 with a passion to positively impact the quality of life of those in the community, Tracy began working in the healthcare industry. At Henry Ford Health System, Kramer focuses on inspiring innovative thinking by challenging the norms and creating curiosity; she then intertwines it with traditional process and performance improvement methods leveraged from her manufacturing and engineering background to create a unique balance.
