Executive Director, Alliance for a Healthier SC
Rick Foster, MD, serves as the executive director of the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina and as senior advisor to the Association in the area of Population Health Improvement. His primary responsibilities at SCHA include leading the work of the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina and providing consultative services and technical assistance to SC organizations at the state and community levels committed to achieving the triple aim of better health and healthcare for all South Carolinians at lower cost through collective impact. Rick has served in a senior executive role with SCHA since 2007, initially serving as senior vice president for quality and patient safety. He also serves as a population health consultant to the SC Department of Health and Human Services, the SC Office of Rural Health and SC DHEC, and as a senior strategic advisor to Sharing Hope SC, the Organ Procurement Organization for South Carolina.
