Wellness Associate
Kate Workman, MS, is a wellness associate with the Columbia University Office of Work/Life specializing in wellness for Columbia’s faculty and staff. Kate’s primary areas of focus are food and nutrition, ergonomics, health and the built environment, and University-wide well-being strategy. Kate has worked in clinical research at two academic medical centers, Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. Kate holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University’s Institute of Human Nutrition and a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Studies and Business Administration from the University of Richmond. Kate is a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS), a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP), and a Fitwel Ambassador. Kate’s passion for health also extends into additional spheres as she is training to be a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and a Studio Pilates Instructor.
