Hanna-Maria Toivanen is the principal of Myllymaeki primary school in Lappeenranta, Finland. She has been teaching Finnish to natives and immigrants for about ten years and working as a principal for the last 3 years. Hanna-Maria believes that the key to good leadership lies within the means to increase contentment and well-being among employees, and she is passionate about improving the conditions of learning in primary schools. She has a master´s degree in Finnish language and literature.
