Ray Pentecost, DrPH, FAIA, FACHA, LEED AP, is the director of the Center for Health Systems & Design in the Texas A&M University, College of Architecture and holds the Ronald L. Skaggs and Joseph G. Sprague Chair of Health Facilities Design. He is a fellow in both the American Institute of Architects and the American College of Healthcare Architects, a former Licensed Long Term Care Administrator, a LEED accredited professional, and an ordained minister. Ray is the immediate past president of the International Academy for Design & Health in Stockholm, a past president of the American College of Healthcare Architects, and a two-time past president of the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health. Ray served as a co-chair for the AIA’s America’s Design and Health Initiative, and was the first chair of the Board of Direction for the Building Research Information Knowledgebase (BRIK) for the National Institute of Building Sciences.
