A psychologically healthy workplace is crucial to developing a healthy and productive workforce. However, there are several existing models to choose from and numerous initiatives HR personnel are already implementing with limited resources. Participants will also assess their organizations and develop a psychologically healthy action plan they can implement. After completing this session, participants will be able to: (1) Understand what is a psychologically healthy workplace and how it connects to business performance and other workforce health initiatives, (2) Score workplace performance in 13 characteristics of a psychologically healthy workplace to understand current strengths and opportunities as they align with an evidenced based model, and (3) Share real world examples of successful internal and external partnerships in building a healthy culture in the workplace and community.
