In organizations with large and diverse populations, reaching—and more importantly, inspiring healthy change in—the daily rituals employees follow can present a daunting challenge. But when people commit to small, sustainable changes over time, big change for individuals and businesses follows. In this session, join Sandia, a national organization, with 11,000 employees across multiple states, to understand their approach to making healthy change easy for all of their people, including those most at-risk, by approaching health holistically, designing creative incentives and offering broad opportunities to make healthy change for good. After completing this session, participants will be able to: (1) Identify key focal points in your organization and craft a targeted and digestible program that moves the needle for your entire organization, (2) Gain insight to Healthy ME 2020, Sandia’s holistic health initiative, which tackles their employees most pressing challenges through quarterly initiatives – eat well, move well, sleep well and live well, and (3) Articulate smarter consumerism and better planning concepts– crafting a timeline to ensure your employees are meeting important deadlines for their health - timing screenings, well checks onsite, offsite appointments and use of healthcare dollars.
